Being a first time homeowner, father to two young children, having a time consuming job – meant my to do list around the house had grown significantly… This meant I sought the help of a handyman who would have the DIY skills that my father never taught me. I contacted John vis ratedpeople website and he agreed to come round to quote for the work. I felt comfortable with John, rather than replace, say, an entire wooden fence, he was able to suggest mending the current one. In a single day and at a very competitive price, John was able to: • Re-felt our shed. • Put up some blinds • Put up some coat hooks and coat racks • Build and put up lightweight shelving in the airing cupboard • Repair a wobbly fence • Re-move and re-grout some cracked tiling. • Re-hang a loose curtain pole Additionally, we sensed that John took great pride in his work and all of the above were carried out to a very high standard. Overall, he seemed like a decent bloke who wants to deliver a value service. Our neighbours and my sister have asked for his details and we'd certainly have him round again. I’d really recommend John for those jobs that you don’t or haven’t found the time to do: all of the above were carried out in a single day, and it would have taken me many weekends to get through it all.

Used to repair some guttering (very high up and difficult to access) and a fence. Excellent service all round. Prompt response, did what was needed and didn't try to make it out as a bigger job than it was,, reasonably priced. Will definitely use next time I need something doing, and would recommend to others.
